This young couple went for a definitely unconventional style!
Rustic Tuscan elements, ethnic recalls, vintage touches match together in a modern and fashion crossover, perfectly representing this local couple of travel and photography enthusiasts.
The newlyweds got married in the Resort Locanda in Tuscany, surrounded by the glow of the Crete Senesi in the Val d’Orcia, where an intimate and very unique ceremony had been arranged. A few wooden benches had been set for the guests in a meadow studded with the typical bales of hay which abound in summertime here in Tuscany, Moroccan carpets in various patterns, ethnic cushions, baskets with dried petals to throw at the end of the celebration and floral decorations with fluffy Pampas grass (qui mettici in italiano erba della pampa come ho messo negli altri trafiletti!) and proteas. It is really interesting the altar, a little tapee: Sergio Leone meeting the Mumford and Sons.
The colour scheme is natural, ivory, ecru, beige, along with a earth palette, from ochre to to brown, matched with pinkish shades from antique to mauve, and a touch of sage green. Very desaturated colours, almost as if they were covered by a subtle veil that tones down their brightness.
The bridal bouquet is really massive, messy, eclectic and wrapped in a pink ribbon.
The reception takes place in the courtyard, where the guests sit at the long imperial tables crossed by macrame runners that the bride herself made!
On the tables we can find a more vintage vibe, from the shades of flowers that mix together dark red, antique pink and orange, through the silver vases and the little glass decorated vases, to the lanterns and candleholders that seem to be stolen from grandma’s house.
MIx and match to perfection!
